@MiaMarkTwo The fires are near you? Oh no! It's quite strange, walking around the valley and hills. Everything is dry as a bone and dusty. Even the livestock is now absent from most fields. I feel for all the critters and birds
@Greenseer Yeah, there's been one burning all week about five miles up the mountain, where all the sheep graze in the summer. I can see the smoke from the kitchen window.

@MiaMarkTwo I've been quite surprised we've had no fires around here so far. We had a large one on the moors about 5 miles away, several years back, that burned for over a week. The smoke filling the valley for all that time felt quite apocalyptic
