Polanski has been foolish here. He must surely know that the corporate media are absolutely gunning for him.
He needs to check every single word and every single photo of anything he boosts on social media. Sure, I'm sure it was a genuine oversight and he didn't mean to boost the photo, but he has to be so careful. The slightest mis-step and the corporate media will be all over him like a rash.
@statsguy For someone whose strategy was absolutely storming it only a few months ago, he's pretty much given a masterclass in how to blow your hard-won advantage by a series of totally avoidable blunders.
So depressing.

(also Farage's assertion that he'd be arrested for incitement when that's resolutely been proved not to be true is a bit galling in this context)
@MiaMarkTwo Yeah. I saw on the news this morning the latest opinion poll has Labour ahead of the Fascist Party for the first time in a while, which of course is good, but what's less good is that that's mostly people switching from Green to Labour
@statsguy Yeah, I saw that poll yesterday. Of course it's being referred to as the "Burnham bump". How long it'll last is another matter and it's kinda irrelevant at this point in the election cycle anyway.
Also saw stuff about the Starmerites planning an "autumn of attacks" or whatever to get revenge for being ousted. Nice and grown up with their priorities straight, as usual 🙄
@MiaMarkTwo Yes, we're at least 2 years from the next GE. Who knows what will happen between now and then? We might have got through another 3 PMs in that time
Oh, and the idea that the #FrogFacedGrifter would expect to be arrested for anything inciteful is ridiculous.
Wasn't it just a few weeks ago he was encouraging his thugs to come out onto the street and riot? Didn't see him getting arrested for that.
